The new unit will tentatively be launched in a month, informs Sankalp Mehrotra, regional director, business development, Affle, not divulging any further details about the same.
Katoch is armed with more than 12 years of experience in digital sales and marketing. He has worked in companies such as Komli Media, Jivox, Hungama, IT Nation and Asian Paints. Prior to joining Affle, Katoch was the national sales head, video advertising at Komli Media.
Kripps too joins Affle from Komli Media, where he was the national head, publisher groups and comes with 12 years of experience across television, print, OOH and digital media. He has worked in companies such as Komli Media, Bennett, Coleman & Co, HT Media, Media2Win and Mindshare.
Commenting on the appointments, Mehrotra says, "Given their (Katoch and Kripps) robust experience in the digital industry, we look forward to exciting times ahead and achieving continued success. Over the last few months, we have made a lot of key appointments in Affle and with a team like this we believe we are well geared to achieve significant business growth this year."

Along with the new appointments, Affle has also promoted Gaurav Pahwa to the role of national sales head, mobile. Pahwa joined Affle from Network18 as associate director in 2011, handling sales for North and East India.
