Dinesh Singh Rathore joins Madison Media Omega as COO

Rathore headed the Delhi and Mumbai offices of Starcom MediaVest Group as vice-president. He is currently serving his notice period and will join Madison in July. Rathore will be based in Bengaluru.

Earlier, Rathore has worked with Mudra for five years. Through his career spanning 17 years in the media sector, Rathore has worked on several brands such as Zydus Wellness, Emirates, The Mobile Store, Tata Housing, Novartis, World Gold Council, Wipro, Toyota, SABMiller, Essilor, Hitachi, Rasna and Vimal, among others. At Starcom, he headed FutureWorks, the specialist unit that handled the Future Group business.

Gautam Kiyawat, group chief executive officer, Madison Media says in a press statement, "I am delighted to have Dinesh (Rathore) join our leadership team and I am sure he will add a lot of value to our clients in Bengaluru."

Kiyawat further tells afaqs! that Rathore's vast experience will prove to be particularly significant in his new role.

"Rathore comes with a lot of experience, especially of operating business units independently. We look forward to use his experience and knowledge to manage our extensive Bengaluru operations. We are charting the course to make Madison an effective and dynamic place to work. We will look at Rathore to help build and manage effective teams within the organisation," Kiyawat says.

Rathore, on joining Madison, says that he looks forward to his new role and contributing to the company's "enviable" list of clients.
