BBH bags creative duties for Acer

BBH has won the creative duties of Acer Computers. The agency won the business on the back of a closely fought multi-agency pitch which was held in Bengaluru.

While the size of the business could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report, it is said to be substantially high.

Reliable sources close to the development have confirmed the news to afaqs!, on the ground of anonymity.

The company plans to launch a 360 degree communication campaign soon.

The account was earlier managed by Dentsu Communications. The agency won the business in 2007, following a multi-agency pitch which involved other agencies such as Contract Advertising, Rediffusion-Y&R and Orchard Advertising. The size of the business at that time was said to be in the region of Rs 20 crore.

The same year, Acer Computers had roped in actor Hrithik Roshan as its brand ambassador.

Before this, Orchard Advertising had handled the account.

Madison remains as the media agency of record (AoR) for the computer brand.
