Smart Life

The Kerala-based Malayala Manorama Group, which publishes The Week, has launched a new monthly lifestyle health magazine titled Smart Life. The magazine bears the tagline, 'Sharp, Sexy, You'.

The monthly title covers health and fitness-related topics ranging from fitness gear to beauty tips and latest healthcare trends. Some of the regular sections in the magazine include Smart Start (about making right choices), Inhale (latest medical trends), Pause (that makes you think), Exhale (which is about all things beautiful, exuberant and healthy) and Smile (about having fun).

The new entrant is available at a cover price of Rs 50 and is targeted at SEC A, in the age group of 18-45 years.

Though the magazine will be available across the country, the company will focus on top eight metros. For distribution, the company is concentrating on Tier I and II cities and will use the same distribution infrastructure that distributes The Week, Vanitha and other titles of the group nationally.

The magazine will compete with a host of health and wellness titles available in the country including Men's Health, Women's Health, Health, Prevention and others.
