Nitin Pradhan has joined JWT as executive creative director. Pradhan, who will be based in Delhi, will primarily manage and work on the Airtel business and also work on special projects from time to time.
Confirming the development to afaqs!, Bobby Pawar, managing partner and chief creative officer, JWT, says, "I have always admired Nitin's work, be it the Kaun Banega Crorepati campaign or his work on SBI. He has been very good with ideas. In fact, he has been a solutions guy and we were looking for such kind of creative people who can provide incredible solutions to brands irrespective of the medium."
Earlier, Pradhan was working as executive creative director at McCann Erickson.
Pradhan, who completed his graduation from Lucknow University, holds a post graduate diploma from the university in advertising and PR. He is also an alumnus of Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA), Ahmedabad. He started his career as senior copywriter in 2001 with Mudra (now known as DDB Mudra Group). After almost four years, he moved to Ogilvy (then Ogilvy and Mather), Mumbai as associate creative director. At the agency, he worked on brands including Tata Sky, Ceat Tyres, Bru coffee and Bank of India.
After a stint of five years at Ogilvy, in 2010, he moved to Leo Burnett's Delhi office as executive creative director. At Leo Burnett, he mainly worked on the Uninor business, along with Samsung refrigerators and Coke Studio. He moved to McCann Erickson in 2011.
