Ankur Bose, former vice-president, Southwest Asia, Cheil Worldwide has been appointed as president of Realm Media. The move will help the out of home (OOH) specialist in its transition into a full service media, communication and entertainment content agency by next year. In his previous position, Bose handled activation, retail, OOH media and digital advertising for non-Samsung accounts and new business acquisition.
Armed with 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, Bose started his career at JWT (formerly HTA) as copywriter and designing exhibitions from 1997 to 2000. He then had a short stint in event management companies such as Magnum Nexus Events and TIC Event Management group. Later, he joined Lowe Lintas, where he headed the events and promotions division in Delhi for over four years. He also became branch manager of Linterland, looking at potential of rural markets in Kolkata. Bose shifted to Ogilvy in 2006 to head the rural marketing services division in Delhi. In 2008, he was made vice-president and was country in-charge of operations of OgilvyAction (Retail, Live and Outreach).
Speaking about the move, Bose says, "Realm's progressive thinking, aggressive approach and Yuvraj's clarity in vision towards creating a media conglomerate is what convinced me to be a part of this group. I will focus on growing Realm Media as a 360 degree media agency and with time, convert it into a full service advertising agency."

The company, which offers services in OOH, retail, digital, ATL (above the line) media buying, experiential and shopper marketing, has 12 domestic offices and five international offices.
