Design company Tata Elxsi has strategically aligned with UAE-based brand consultancy firm Brash Brands to provide full service brand consultancy and integrated design solutions to its clients in India.
The partnership ensures that Brash Brands has a presence in India, with the Bengaluru-based Tata Elxsi acting as its representative. The latter, on the other hand, can offer an additional service of brand management, for which its clients would otherwise have to scout elsewhere. The partnership will offer brand development, target product design, signage, portfolio management, brand ideation, product management and other services.
According to John Brash, founder and chief executive officer, Brash Brands (and a former creative big shot at the San Francisco-based Landor Associates), Tata Elxsi will assist it to connect with potential clients, considering it is a massive market with ample opportunity.
"This is a big step for our organisation and it vindicates our business strategy. We do not want to be the biggest - we just want to offer our enterprise clients excellence to realise the potential of their brands. Tata Elxsi understands the power of this proposition and the need for excellent brand development services in India. Through this strategic partnership, we are committed to offering a set of high quality, focused services that will change the nature of brand consultancy in India and our international markets," he says.
In India, Brash Brands will focus on six segments -- real estate, hospitality and resorts, travel, transportation and logistics, IT, and industrial and luxury brands.
Madhukar Dev, CEO and managing director, Tata Elxsi states that many clients of the company require complimentary offering of brand management, which it didn't have in-house. With this offering by Tata Elxsi, clients will no longer need to scout outside for the service.
