Manhattan Communications India's digital arm, Manhattan Digital, has appointed Manish Srivastava as business head, digital. In his immediate past role, Srivastava was the zonal head (West), ad sales at

Shantonu Aditya, co-promoter and director, claims that in a span of less than 18 months, Manhattan Communications has achieved an ad network (Ethniconline network) with over 1,500 publishers, video network (VuDo), search, social media and ORM (Object-relational mapping) services with its offices in India and abroad (New York, London and Toronto).

Srivastava is armed with more than a decade's experience in the digital space. Having begun his career in 2001 at SOTC, he has had stints thereafter in companies such as NewsWire18 and, before he joined

At the company, his immediate mandate will be to bring high volume business and scale up the company's growth chart.

"Srivastava will help us grow our business not just on the ad-network front but our social media and search verticals as well. We are also growing by signing certain clients directly. Srivastava will also work to develop those direct relationships,"

says Aditya.
