The second edition of the coffee table book was launched at Goafest.
The second edition of Dainik Bhaskar's coffee table book, Mosaic - India's Best in Print was unveiled on April 5 at Goafest by Prasoon Joshi of McCannWorld Group, Partha Sinha of BBH India, Monica Tata of IAA, Vikram Sakhuja of Maxus Global, Anupriya Acharya of Mindshare Fulcrum and Sundar Swamy of RK Swamy during the IAA debate sponsored by the Dainik Bhaskar Group.
In an official communiqué, Sanjeev Kotnala, vice-president, Dainik Bhaskar Group, says, "The response we received for the second edition of Mosaic was overwhelming and it was a difficult task to adhere to our constraints with respect to the number of campaigns per agency. Indian print creativity has observed a spectacular explosion in recent times leading to a distinctive, bold and eye-popping body of work as diverse as the country itself. Mosaic 2012 captures this diversity and pins Indian print creativity on the world map. We aim to make Mosaic the reference point for the entire creative fraternity showcasing the best ideas across all areas of exploration and technique that shapes this industry."
Mosaic 2012 is available on www.afaqs.com and will be distributed among key decision makers in the industry including creative agencies, media agencies and corporate houses.
Last year, the book showcased more than 125 pages featuring the best print campaigns of about 70 brands created by 23 creative agencies of India, including Ogilvy India, McCann Erickson, Lowe Lintas & Partners, JWT India, Draftfcb Ulka, Taproot, Grey, Leo Burnett India and BBDO India. Besides the print copies, the edition saw over 9,500 downloads, in addition to 4,500 physical copies circulated to agencies and marketing organisations.
