Greater Noida-based Sharda University has awarded its creative duties to Brands On E Advertising. The agency won the business after a multi-agency pitch, where three other agencies had participated.
"We liked the creative works shown by the agency and our expectation matched theirs. Hence, we chose to partner with them," says Jasmine Bhagria, manager, corporate communications, Sharda University.
She adds that the while Sharda University is already a brand, it wants to create more awareness and that's where the agency will come to play. Brands On E is expected to handle print, online and outdoor creatives for the private university.
While the university's digital requirements are taken care of by an internal team, its media duties are handled by Adwell Advertising. In another 10 days, the university is scheduled to launch its outdoor and radio campaigns. The overall marketing spends of the university are Rs 20 crore per annum.
Talking about the business win, Suhas Ratan, partner, creative, Brands On E, says that new rounds of campaigns will begin soon. While the university has nine schools of disciplines, four - dental, management, technical and law - are actively advertised. The agency is also pushing for a fresh TVC that will come up in the second half of the year, as the current one is two years old.
Sharda University is a part of the Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). It is spread across 63 acres of land in Greater Noida. The campus houses multi disciplinary courses and has a total student base of 8,000, of which more than 1,000 are foreign students from 34 countries, Bhagria reveals.
SGI was set up in 1995 and has over 25,000 students across its various institutions. Apart from Sharda University, it also has education institution campuses in Agra and Mathura.
