Nokia partners with Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

The initiative promotes Lumia 720 smartphone's camera lens that was used by the crew during the shooting of the movie.

To cash in on the popularity of the latest Bollywood movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Nokia India has associated with Dharma Productions (the film's producer) to propagate the camera lens of its Lumia 720 smartphone. The partnership will leverage offline as well as online platforms to inform the audience about the imaging capability of the model and properties such as Cinemagraph and Smart Shoot that makes photos come alive and enables users to remember the memories associated with the image.

Apparently, the film crew recorded the memorable moments during the shoot using the Nokia Lumia 720 camera lens. "We remember posing for group pictures and everybody had an issue with practically every picture - the eyes would be shut, the face contorted! That was until we used Smartshoot - we chose the best faces to create the perfect pic and then the worst ones to create a funny picture," recalls a crew member.

The Lumia 720's Cinemagraph is an exclusive app that creates animated GIF files, which combines motion and still pictures together in a single frame for shares through social network. The Smart Shoot takes multiple group pictures with a single click.
