Asianet, the Malayalam general entertainment channel from the STAR Network stable, is set to launch a reality show titled 'Munch Stars' on July 22.
The celebrity reality show will feature television stars who will display their talents in dance, music, humour and games as the show progresses.
The 51- episode show will be aired every week Monday to Thursday from 8 pm to 9 pm.
The show replaces Ningalkkum Aakam Kodeeswaran, the Malayalam version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, which was hosted by Suresh Gopi, a popular movie star of Malayalam cinema.
Munch Stars will witness 25 television celebrities participating in the show. The format involves five teams with five members in each team competing against one other. Stars from the mini screen will put on display their exceptional talents in Munch Stars.
Produced by Asianet Communications, the show will kick-start in the presence of actor Kavya Madhavan ,team captains Anand (Padasaram team), Rajeev Ganesh (Sreedhanam team), Sajan Surya (Kungumapoo team), Rajeev Parameswaran (Aardram team), Rajesh Hebbar (Amma team), contestants and other special dignitaries.
The show will be anchored by Sreelakshmi and Reena Basheer.
