The Delhi Advertising Club elects new president

The Delhi Advertising Club (DAC) has elected HS Paul, a marketing professional and journalist, as the president of the club for 2013-2014. HS Paul is from the media group Daily Excelsior from Jammu.

Besides, the DAC has also appointed two vice presidents in Vijay Chopra of Interads Advertising and Subhash C Vatsain of The Hitavada, Nagpur, along with two joint secretaries in Jatinder Pal Singh of Charhdikala and Annoop Joshii of SAIL. The Club has also elected KK Malhotra as hony. treasurer.

On being elected as the president of DAC, HS Paul says, "Being appointed as the president, I ensure all the members, that me and my team will take further necessary steps for the image building of the club, as I believe that there is always possibility for improvement and hope that the year ahead will be eventful year of DAC."

Paul joined advertising in Delhi in 1977. He has experience of 36 years in the field of journalism, advertising and marketing. He has worked with various publications and since 1989 working as a regional head (North India) and Delhi bureau chief of Daily Excelsior of Jammu. He is also member of Delhi Management Association and Advertising Standards Council of India, Mumbai. He is associated with DAC since 1980 and was actively participating in most of the events previously held.

The Delhi Advertising Club has 281 life and 228 ordinary members. These members are senior executives from leading advertisers, advertising agencies and media, including print, electronic, outdoor agencies and PR houses. The club has been functioning regularly since 1969.
