The Punjab-based company will begin its advertising with its edible oil brands and later release communications for soap and cattle feed. The advertising will target housewives and the first communication will be launched in a couple of months as the sale of edible oil is highest during winter.

Tara Health Foods plans for a 360 degree outreach but the main focus of the communication will be on television.

The company owns several brands such as Zaitoon Tara cooking oil, Tara Gold rice bran oil, Tara Lite rice bran oil, Tara Kotton cooking oil and Tara O Pure cooking oil.

Tara Health Foods was incorporated in 1977 and was taken by its promoters in 2004. It is now headed by Balwant Singh and Jaswant Singh. The company owns a edible oil refining plant in Malerkotla district in Punjab that has a 120 TPD refining capacity. It also produces soaps at the same facility. The company also owns cattle feed plants in Jammu, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.

Foresight Communications was established in 1991 by Arun Kapoor and has worked with several brands such as Fujifilm, Mayur Suitings, Wings Pharma and others. It was taken over by Vijay Shekhar Gupta, who has been in the ad film making industry, in 2010. Some of the accounts Foresight is working on are Dunar Basmati Rice and Tivoli Gardens.
