From Here On wins creative mandate of Videocon's online retail brand

From Here On Communications (FHO) has been awarded the creative mandate of, Videocon's online retail offering. The agency's mandate does not extend to the brand's offline retail offering, Next Retail India. The development comes on the back of a multi-agency pitch process.

Confirming the news to afaqs!, the company spokesperson says that the brand needs a fresh outlook and From Here On clinched the account because it is "a creative and experienced team." The TG, he adds, is "anyone looking to buy an electronics product."

A B See Peninsular has worked on the creative duties of in the recent past. Media planning and buying for the website is currently handled by an in-house team.

The upcoming ad campaign for the brand is slated to break soon and will be a phased one. The media mix will be print and digital-led, initially. The effort will be to position the brand as 'India's largest online electronics store'.

Founded in 2003, Next Retail India specialises in organised retailing of consumer electronics, small home appliances and mobile phones. It is a multi-brand, multi-product retail chain which stocks consumer durables such as air-conditioners, FPDs (flat panel displays), washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves, home theatre systems, mobile phones, gaming consoles and set top boxes, among several other items.

For the record, From Here On was launched two years back by ex-Dentsu hands Gullu Sen and Rajesh Aggarwal.
