PNB Housing Finance appoints IBD India as creative agency

PNB Housing Finance, the registered housing finance company with National Housing Bank, has chosen IBD India as its creative partner. The agency won the business after a multi-agency pitch process. IBD India is a Percept Hakuhodo company.

Under the mandate, IBD India will help create integrated communication strategies to position and create awareness about the brand as well as the various products under its portfolio at various touch points.

Shaji Varghese, general manger and business head, PNB Housing Finance, says, "IBD's understanding of our business, brand, vision, market and our consumer tilted the decision in its favour. During the pitch, IBD also showed good understanding of the industry. I am sure it will add tangible value."

Agreeing with him, Jatin Bhatt, COO and strategy planning director, IBD India, says that the agency will work to rejuvenate and reinvent the brand and help it gain market share in the category.

PNB Housing Finance is a subsidiary of Punjab National Bank and began operations in 1988. It offers housing loans for construction, purchase, repair and upgradation of houses. In addition to this, the company gives out loans for commercial space, loan against property and loan on buying residential plots. The company intends to expand its business and market share aggressively in the category.
