Raj TV appoints Swapna Sundari as COO for Telugu market
With an experience of about 15 years, Sundari is a renowned journalist who has worked for Sakshi TV, TV9 and Reliance's radio station.
Raj TV has taken aboard Swapna Sundari to handle the Telugu channels of the group, including a music channel, a GEC and a news channel. She joins the channel from Sakshi TV, where she was working as executive editor.
Scheduled to join the group in a week, she will report to Rajendran, chairman of the Raj TV group. With about 15 years of experience in media, she is a renowned journalist in south India.
Sundari, who was identified earlier with TV9 as one of its core group members, has also worked for Reliance ADAG's FM radio as regional programming head, South. She has also presented key shows in music and entertainment with the MAA group of channels and is a well-known classical Carnatic vocalist.
The Raj group of channels was initially launched about 20 years ago. The group has significant presence in the Tamil and Kannada markets.
