Ever thought of flaunting a pair of socks that has a crowd sourced design? And, that too if the designs represent the city that you live in?

Mustang Socks and Accessories, a manufacturer, distributor and retailer of socks and accessories in India, has initiated its first crowd sourcing digital campaign for creating innovative socks designs coined on the theme 'Saddi Dilli'.

This social media initiative will be run until December 15 and aims to develop designs with Mustang fans based on the 'Saddi Dilli' theme. The aim of the campaign is to feature and showcase various monuments of New Delhi.

Saddi Dilli is being promoted across Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/mustangsocks)

and Twitter platforms by asking people to discuss and send in their suggestions on the sock designs being posted. The most popular designs, based on online polls, discussions, and feedback, will be chosen to be part of the final exclusive Saddi Dilli sock collection to be launched by the brand. The Saddi Dilli campaign has garnered more than 400 responses.

The Mustang Socks Facebook page currently has 1,268 fans and this activity is also in line with the company's efforts to increase its digital fan following and footprint. Besides, the brand also has an e-commerce presence across platforms like Myntra, Jabong, and BabyOye.com.

The brand had earlier launched a similar campaign with the theme Aamchi Mumbai and after the successful response, it looks to build a similar collection for the national capital.

Speaking about the idea behind the campaign, Lubeina Shahpurwala, co-founder, Mustang Socks, says, "The core objective of this initiative is to create conversations and connect with the tastes of our audience. We want to provide a variety of designs that our consumers would love to flaunt. Social media is a very interesting medium as we are able to communicate and understand the changing trends of our audience on a real time basis, which is extremely exciting for our product segment, in this time and age."

Mustang Socks has been actively introducing various interesting sock designs in the past across various themes such as Christmas, Neon, Rainbow, and Cartoon Character Collections.
