Before IBN7, Ashutosh has worked with Aaj Tak for more than a decade and has been one of the pioneer television journalists of the country in the Hindi news genre. He is also the only Hindi language TV journalist in independent India who was selected for Dag Hammarskjold UN Scholarship. He has a post graduate qualification (M Phil) in Soviet Studies and a Master's degree in Philosophy & International Studies.

Tewari is also the managing editor, CNN-IBN and will manage the operations for both the ventures. Tewari has over two decades of experience in journalism across reportage, desk, news production and special events coverage. Before Network18, he has worked with TV Today Network, Times of India and The Pioneer.
