Anitha Krishnan joins JWT Mumbai

JWT has appointed Anitha Krishnan as executive business director at its Mumbai office. Krishnan, who was heading the Bengaluru office of JWT's sister agency Contract, will join the Mumbai office of JWT on January, 13.

Krishnan says that considering JWT is a bigger agency, she is excited about the challenges and opportunities on offer. "What makes this move exciting is the diversity that JWT offers, be it the kind of brands, the people, platforms and the opportunity to present a truly integrated business solution," she adds.

Krishnan has spent a majority of her 17-year career span with Contract, where she worked at the Mumbai and Bengaluru offices. Some of the brands she worked on at Contract include Louis Philippe, Platinum, HSBC Premier, Shoppers Stop, Asian Paints' Royale, Vladivar, White Mischief and Jockey. She started her career with Bates CHI & Partners in 1997, where she worked again later on. She also worked with HTA (now JWT) for a year, where she handled brands like Ponds, Pears and Denim.
