Ipsos gets new operational head in Deepak Garkhel

Garkhel was earlier heading the operations for Millward Brown.

Deepak Garkhel, who was the national operations head at Millward Brown, has been appointed to head the operations of Ipsos in India. He will be based in Delhi and will preside in the role of executive director, operations.

On getting Garkhel on board, Gordon says, "Given his rich experience in market research operations and illustrious career, I am confident that Deepak will help us further upgrade and streamline our operations capability and successfully drive the implementation of new technologies and processes."

Garkhel has more than 20 years of experience in research industry and is well-versed with research and operational challenges and supporting it with research solutions. Some of the organisations that he has worked with earlier include TNS, Market Probe and Gallup.

Garkhel says, "Ipsos' deep research roots and intellectual curiosity are compelling, and provide a powerful foundation for service expansion and driving excellence in operations."

An alumnus of IILM, New Delhi, Garkhel completed his post graduation diploma in business management with specialisation in marketing.

France-headquartered Ipsos is an independent market research company formed in 1975. The company, which analyses market potential and predicts trends, currently has offices in 84 countries. It has expertise in six research verticals - advertising, customer loyalty, marketing, media, public affairs research and survey management.
