Ad Club to conduct workshop on March 11

The one-day workshop will be all about how business principles, creative content and marketing communication concepts can be optimised.

The Advertising Club, in collaboration with JMC Academy, Australia's leading creative industries institution, is organising a workshop on Entertainment Business Management. 'Taking Indian creative content onto the world stage' is the broader thought the workshop is based on.

The event will be held on March 11, in Mumbai.

The one-day workshop will be all about how business principles, creative content and communications/marketing concepts can help turn entertainment related ideas into assets. The session will also touch upon the challenge of making the 'perfect pitch', something advertising, production and event companies are faced with on a daily basis.

The workshop is targeted at professionals from the entertainment, event management/event sponsorship industry, with two to five years of work experience.

Devraj Sanyal, managing director, Universal Music and EMI Music, South Asia; and JMC's Antony Waddington, a producer and lecturer, will conduct the workshop.

The Advertising Club organises annual award shows for the Indian advertising and media fraternity through popular events such as Effies, Emvies and Abby Awards.
