New York Festivals' 2014 International Awards Finalists have been announced for this year and India has bagged three nominations, including the Google Reunion ad in the Film category. The other two are from Lladro and Presidium in the Design competition.
The Google Reunion ad by Chrome Pictures was nominated in the Direction category.
Agencies from all over the world have sent entries to the 2014 competition under different categories such as Avant-Garde, Branded Entertainment, Creative Marketing Effectiveness, Design, Digital, Direct and Collateral, Film, Integrated, Outdoor, Print, Public & Media Relations, Public Service Announcements, Radio and Student.
With jury members and entries hailing from more than 70 countries, the NYF is the most diverse advertising awards competition in the world.
The Grand Jury conducted online evaluates all entries to determine the shortlist. The shortlist is then judged by the executive jury, known as the 'Dream Team' - an exclusive group of prominent worldwide chief creative officers from the world's best advertising agencies. This elite group comes together for five days of live judging to determine the top three winners, the Grand Winners, as well as the one entry worthy of being named the Best of Show.
New York Festivals 2014 will announce the winners of the World's Best Advertising at the New York Public Library's Beaux-Arts building in New York City on Thursday, May 1.
