Havas Media India names Ranjoy Dey as head of digital

Dey has about 19 years of experience. He has earlier worked with Ignitee Digital and Digitas India.

Havas Media Group, India has appointed Ranjoy Dey as head of digital. His key responsibility will be to drive growth for Havas Digital in India.

An MBA, Dey has about 19 years of experience. Before Havas, he has worked in the digital marketing domain with Ignitee Digital where he was COO. Earlier, he was with Digitas India.

Dey has also headed the marketing function in the e-Learning domain for companies such as eMind (now Kaplan India) and InfoPro, and managed large scale on-ground operations projects in the area of promotions and events for agencies such as Solutions Integrated Marketing Services.

Dey has worked on brands that include Nestle, Samsung, Reckitt Benckiser, Dabur, ITC, JK Tyre, Axis Bank, SanDisk, Airtel and Pizza Hut Delivery, among others. His works have won several national and international awards including the PMAA, MAA Globes, Abbys and DMA.

In October 2013, Havas Media India strengthened its digital team with two key senior appointments. Sumit Kumar was appointed general manager, Mobext India and S V Sunilkumar joined as business head, digital, Mumbai. In the last one year, the agency has won big-ticket digital accounts of brands like LG India and Xolo.

Havas Media India's full services digital portfolio includes digital media planning and buying, display advertising, digital direct response, search engine marketing, SEO, pay-per-click, social media, as well as 'Mobext' for mobile solutions and performance marketing using data and analytics.
