Kohinoor Specialty Foods initiates creative pitch

Kohinoor Specialty Foods India (KSF) has initiated a creative pitch which is underway in New Delhi, sources in the industry confirm to afaqs!. The incumbent agency on the account is Scarecrow Communications. The agency, we learn, is not participating in the pitch to retain the business.

The company appointed Scarecrow Communications as its creative agency following a multi-agency pitch in 2012. The account was handled by the agency's Delhi office, wherein it provided 360 degree solutions to Kohinoor Speciality Foods.

KSF is a 85: 15 JV between $3.3 billion McCormick, headquartered in USA, a global leader in manufacturing, marketing and distribution of spices, seasonings, specialty foods and flavours and Kohinoor Foods, a Basmati rice company.

McCormick's key sales, distribution and production facilities are located in North America and Europe. Furthermore, the company has facilities in Mexico, Central America, Australia, China, Singapore, Thailand and South Africa.
