The channel had clocked 676578 GVTs in the previous week. This week, it managed to push five of its fiction shows to the top shows' chart. Despite losing eyeballs, Zee TV held on to the second spot with 414540 GVTs, as opposed to 438207 GVTs in the previous week. Two of its shows made it to the top list.
At No.3 is Colors that gained numbers to settle at 403053 GVTs in the week, compared to 375025 GVTs in week 31 of TAM. Two of its shows are included in most watched shows list. Life OK comes next with 311640 GVTs (last week 311423 GVTs).
Multi Screen Media's two GECs follow Life OK. Sony Entertainment Television and Sab TV clocked 278432 GVTs (last week 275107) and 277018 GVTs (last week 265377), respectively, in the week ended August 9.
Zee Anmol grossed 74977 GVTs (last week 74095), Star Utsav clocked 78967 GVTs (last week 86695), Zindagi notched 25508 GVTs (last week 24990) and Sahara One ended the week with 14399 GVTs (last week 14973).
Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum and Mahabharat were the two most watched shows in the genre with 10024 TVTs and 9110 TVTs, respectively. At No.3 is Colors' Comedy Nights with Kapil that ended the week with 8556 TVTs. It is followed by Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya (7560 TVTs) and Jodha Akbar (7332 TVTs). The next two spots are occupied by Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai - that clocked 7326 TVTs - and Saathiya Saath Nibhana that clocked 7150 TVTs.
At No.8 is Sab's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that registered 6552 TVTs in the week. Next is Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that recorded 6380 TVTs. Colors' Sasural Simar Ka is at No.10 with 5699 TVTs.
