Soundtrek captures the musical journey of artistes like Palash Sen and his band Euphoria; Uday Benegal (Indian Rock band Indus Creed); Gurdeep Mehendi (popular Punjabi singer); Mikey McCleary, the man behind the re-interpretations of songs like Khoya Khoya Chand and Hawa Hawai; Hipnoribe, a Mumbai-based funk/jazz/rock band; Amit Kilam (Indian Ocean drummer); Dhruv Sangari (sufi singer) and many news bands like Nasya, Swarthma and Fossils as they explore India's "most memorable" songs in a city that connects best with it, collaborate with local artistes and create magic.

The artistes trek through the country visiting places like Jaipur, Amritsar, Benaras, Lucknow, Delhi, Mumbai, Jaisalmer and Kolkata to trace the stories and people who inspired the songs.
