Scarecrow wins creative mandate of iProf, a digital education brand

iProf Learning Solutions, the Noida-headquartered 'digital education company', has appointed Scarecrow Communications as its creative agency.

Manish Bhatt, founder-director, Scarecrow, says, "iProf is not just another brand. It is a brand for a cause," going on to explain that iProf works towards making education available in every nook and corner of the country, using technology.

Sanjay Purohit, CEO, iProf, says attributes Scarecrow's victory to the team's "deeply-analysed strategic brand presentation and creative dexterity."

For the record, iProf was created in 2009 and has since raised $15 million in venture capital funding. The company started out with the usage of the tablet PC as a delivery platform for education.

The company's product offering includes audio-video lectures (with 3D animation), digital notes, and evaluative practice questions that help students prepare for competitive national-level examinations (engineering, medical, management and civil services).

On August 30, 2012, iProf launched an ecommerce portal, The portal offers comprehensive education material in the form of video lectures, animations, notes and tests that help students prepare for competitive exams such as JEE, AIPMT, CAT, CACPT, NDA and SAT. It also has material for students between classes I to XII (CBSE curriculum).

All the material is preloaded on a tablet or pen drive; the user can simply order it online and get it "doorstep delivered," says the agency's press note.

Scarecrow Communications, present in Mumbai and Delhi, currently handles accounts such as &Pictures, Zee, Viacom, Reliance Mutual Fund, Only Vimal, among several others.

The agency's recently won businesses include brands like Godfather Beer, Kenneth Cole, Steve Madden and Quiksilver.
