Nickelodeon, the 'kids entertainment channel' from Viacom18's bouquet, claims it believes in empowering kids. Well, its latest campaign is testament to that: To celebrate Children's Day this year, the channel has decided to launch a campaign that will culminate in five children the temporary 'bosses' of the channel.
Talking about the launch of this initiative, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, EVP and business head, kids cluster, Viacom18, says, "Nickelodeon has always believed in empowering kids while entertaining them." This initiative, she says, takes this very promise ahead.
"We are sure that children with their imaginative minds will add a whole new dimension of fun to Nickelodeon on this special day, and I am more than happy to step aside and hand over the reins to the little bosses," she adds.
To participate in the contest, one needs to tune in to Nickelodeon, starting now, every Monday-Friday from 6 pm to 7 pm, and participate in the 'Nick Be the Boss' contest. One will be required to answer a few questions. Participants can SMS the correct answer with NICK
BSNL and MTNL users can call 1255568 and all other users can call 5056882 to participate. The channel's website (nickindia.com) is also being leveraged for this contest.
