Mindshare promotes Himanshu Shekhar as CEO, ASEAN division

Apart from overseeing other ASEAN offices, he will be launching agency operations in Myanmar and Cambodia.

Mindshare, the global media agency network and a part of GroupM and WPP, has elevated Himanshu Shekhar as CEO, ASEAN division. The new ASEAN division has been launched recognising the increasing need for marketers to tap into the growing consumption potential in the region especially Myanmar and Cambodia.

A seasoned Mindshare hand, Shekhar has lead the Mindshare team in Indonesia since 2012 and has energised the market with focus on new media and partnerships.

In his new role effective immediately, he will continue to be based in Jakarta as CEO Indonesia but will also lead, transfer best practices and bring new services to all ASEAN offices that include Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. In addition, he will also be launching Mindshare's operations in new markets of Myanmar and Cambodia.
