Live Viacom's music and art venture 'Emerge' is set to come back and entertain its audiences with an added flavour. The property has upped the ante this year as it has further expanded its activities in the entertainment sphere, reaching new audiences and the youth by launching a day-long festival.
Live Viacom18 ventured into music with its property 'Emerge'. Year 2013 saw Emerge host an array of fresh and seasoned acts from across the globe- Jeremy Loops (SA), Dinner and a Suit (USA), ENGINE-EARZ (UK) featuring Asa (UK), Foreign Beggars (UK), DJ Dismantle (UK), Go Go Berlin (GER), The Virginmarys (UK) and more recently, These Reigning Days (UK) who enthralled music fans in major Indian cities.
Live Viacom18 in association with Vh1 India, has put together a day of fun and frolic in the Capital as well as in Bangalore. On the bill is the Grammy-Award nominated Alt- J, hang-drum player Daniel Waples featuring The Petebox. Homegrown talent like New Delhi's Advaita will bring their sublime fusion tunes to the fore and Bangalore rock-outfit Parvaaz will also be part of the festivities.
At the very core of Emerge is music and arts discovery- a platform, a forum where young fans can expect an experience like no other, where they will be able to truly open their minds and have a chance to discover something unique, something that will blow their mind - you can find your favourite new band, favourite new dancer and painter at Emerge. It will be an amalgamation of all things creative.
The music and art show will kick off in Bangalore and Delhi on February 28 and March 1, respectively.
