Happy expands its digital division

The agency appoints digital marketing professionals to the division.

Happy Creative Services has expanded its digital cell by staffing digital marketing professionals. The division will help in connecting brands with its relevant audiences in the digital medium. It is being run by a core team comprising Akshaye Madhok as the digital director, Sanaa Abdussamad as the creative lead, Anoop Menon as digital strategist, Sumana Samuk as group account director, and Madhu Sudan as digital producer.

The team comprises of 18 members consisting of digital marketing experts across strategy, creative, content, technology, data, design and development who will offer data driven insights to create digital content and experiences.

"We intend to achieve this through the application of consumer data, and technology insights with a strong focus to marry design and digital. And with the rise of so many tech businesses, we are fully equipped to deliver to their design and experience needs," says Praveen Das, chief creative officer and co- founder, Happy.

Akshaye Madhok, one of the co-founders of Geek, brings with him over a decade's worth of experience in technology development. His expertise lies in the digital domain, social media, digital publishing, gamification design, and technology consulting.

Sanaa Abdussamad, a core member of Happy since its formation over 8 years ago, brings her flair and personal interest for digital storytelling, and the knowledge garnered from being a key member in a technology start up.

Anoop Menon comes from Creativeland Asia and Maxus with over six years of experience developing strategy for brands like Frooti, Hippo, Titan, Audi, CCD, and Godrej.

Sumana Samuk is a digital and social media professional from Ogilvy with over 8 years experience across social media marketing, digital strategy, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, account management & business development. She has been responsible for developing blueprints for success on all things related to social media for her clients across industries like Aviation, Hospitality, Technology, Healthcare and Mobile.

And Madhu Sudan joins them as digital producer with over 10 years of experience in handling more than 100 innovative digital and social campaigns for Indian and International brands. He brings in the technology know-how required to integrate ideas with the medium.

With names like Flipkart, Ola Cabs, GoDaddy, Trendin, Lee, Basics, People and many others in its kitty, Happy aims to target brands and businesses purely looking for digital support.
