Olive Crowns Call for Entries Deadline extended

The deadline has been extended till February 15.

The Olive Crown Awards from the India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) has extended its deadline for the submission of entries till February 15.

The awards for communication of green subjects are in their 5th edition and enjoy participation from the entire industry.

Srinivasan Swamy, president, IAA, says, "The Olive Crown awards are our contribution to Planet Earth. They are run as a cause and we do not charge any entry fee. The awards ceremony is also an exclusive "invite-only" show. Last year Amitabh Bachchan was the chief guest and Maneka Gandhi received the Green Crusader Award. Further, Hindustan Unilever and Mathrubhumi Group of Newspapers shared the Corporate Social Crusader Award and McCann World Group bagged the Agency of the year award."

Neeraj Roy, chairman, Olive Crown Awards Committee, points out, "The response to the Call for Entries has been very good but many Agencies have requested an extension of the deadline, and so we have extended the last date to receive entries to February 15th. 2015."

These are the only awards in Asia that salutes excellence in communicating sustainability.

The International Advertising Association is the world's only globally-focused integrated advertising trade association with membership representing advertising agencies and the media. The IAA comprises corporate members, organizational members, educational affiliates, as well as 56 chapters with individual members and young professionals from 76 countries including the top 10 economies in the world. IAA is over 75 years' old and is headquartered in New York.

IAA has senior marketing, advertising and media professionals as it members. India was the recipient of the Best Chapter Award on the last two occasions this was given out, in 2010 and 2014. IAA India is well recognized for some of its marque events like the IAA Olive Crown Awards, IAA Leadership Awards, IAA Debates, IAA Conversations, IAA-Kyoorious DigiYatra and others.
