The Buzziest Brands is back!

The annual Buzziest Brands poll from afaqs! is back with its impressive list of winners again! Now in its tenth consecutive year, the annual poll has become one of the more awaited, fun and seriously coveted awards over the years. Meet the winners today in a glittering function at Gurgaon's Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Established as one of the best indicators of brands that are ruling or are set to rule, the Surewaves Buzziest Brands Awards will be held at 7 PM today, at the Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon.

Starting with the idea to poll people who understand the world of brands, that is the readers of afaqs!, one of the world's largest marketing and advertising portals, the buzzies, as a lot of you call them, have today evolved to be a dependable measure of the brands who 'get' their consumers, and those on their way to getting there.

The Buzziest Brands is back!
Following the new format of last year, this year, voting was conducted for brands across 21 categories with an additional category for Quick Service Restaurants (QSR). The poll witnessed participation from more than 1200 viewers. Besides, the popular voting on the afaqs! website, a jury of five eminent marketing and advertising experts weighed in with their choices too. The jury comprised Pravin Kulkarni, general manager (marketing), Parle Products, Sanjay Tripathy, senior EVP, marketing, product, digital, e-commerce, HDFC Life, Piyush Kumar, marketing manager (India), Rado, Jagdish Acharya, founder, Cut The Crap, and Charles Victor, national creative director, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi.

With enumeration done, expect an evening with some predictable winners, some surprises and a lot of fun!
