Ogaan Publications is now Ogaan Media

The company is undergoing a complete management restructuring to reflect sharpened focus on each of its target markets in fashion, beauty, décor and lifestyle.

Ogaan Publications, which publishes Elle and Elle Décor in India, has announced a corporate restructuring to reflect sharpened focus on each of its target markets in fashion, beauty, décor and lifestyle.

The company will be renamed Ogaan Media, and along with its current print and digital titles (Elle and Elle Décor) under Ogaan Publishing, will also offer custom brand solutions across fashion, beauty, décor and lifestyle categories, encompassing print, digital, and on-ground activities under Ogaan Cube and Ogaan Connect, as well as strengthen its portfolio of IPRs like India Design ID under Ogaan Live.

The restructuring is aimed at realigning the organisation into business units as part of a plan that will reshape the company to improve efficiency, innovation and customer experience.

As part of the restructuring, Kavita Bhartia will be chairperson, and Archana Pillai, currently group publisher and CEO, will become vice chairperson, focussing on strategic planning and long-term corporate goals.

Gaurav Mashruwala will take over as CEO, Ogaan Media, moving from his existing role as Publisher Elle. Takesh Mathur will take overall charge of F&A as CFO Ogaan Media.

Sonia Bajaj will be promoted from publisher, Elle Décor, to publishing director Elle and Elle Décor and will be in charge of advertising revenues across Ogaan Media titles.

Priyadarshini Kohli will be promoted to group advertising director and will be in charge of sales across Ogaan Media.

Pramiti Madhavji, editor-in-chief, Elle Décor, will now additionally be content chief - Décor and Lifestyle, and oversee the content services of the bespoke divisions for the Décor and Lifestyle categories.

Aishwarya Subramanyam, editor, Elle, will take on additional charge as content chief - Fashion & Beauty, along with her current responsibilities, and oversee the content services of the bespoke division for the Fashion and Beauty space.

Prashish More, creative director, Elle, will take over as group creative director for Ogaan Media, overseeing both the print and digital titles, as well as the creative direction of the new services.

The company claims that this announcement marks a significant change in Ogaan's operating model and has been designed to take the company into its next phase of growth. The model will improve both the reader and client/customer experience and provide a more efficient and robust platform to build upon.

The new structure will accelerate innovation and enable a more effective go to market strategy for the group.

Elle is the Indian edition of the worldwide lifestyle magazine of French origin, of the same name. The magazine was launched in India is 1996 and is published by Ogaan Publications.
