Zee TV has narrowed its gap with Colors, courtesy 'Dance India Dance SuperMoms'. The channel launched the new season of the home-grown property on March 28 and the show has seen an encouraging start.

As per TAM data (HSM, 4+, C&S), provided by a subscriber, 'DID SuperMoms' fetched 9441 TVTs in its opening episode. The show gave a further push to the viewership numbers of the channel as Zee TV grossed 411915 GVTs in the week, as compared to 394303 GVTs in the previous week. It was the second most watched show in the genre in week 13. Besides, two fiction shows of Zee TV also featured in the top ten.

Meanwhile, Star Plus maintained its lead in the genre with 597835 GVTs, as opposed to 624246 GVTs in the previous week. Five of its shows remain in the most watched list of the genre.

Colors held on to its second spot with 451682 GVTs. It had garnered 457100 GVTs in the last week.

Life OK and Sab TV clocked 457100 GVTs and 281652 GVTs, respectively, in the week ending March 28.

Sony Entertainment Television closed the week with 221802 GVTs, as &TV concluded it with 101129 GVTs.

A look at the shows...

Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' and 'DID SuperMoms' emerged as the two most watched properties on Hindi GECs, with 9534 TVTs and 9441 TVTs, respectively.

These are followed by four shows from Star Plus' - 'Saathiya Saath Nibhana' (9140 TVTs), 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' (8450 TVTs), 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' (8128 TVTs) and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (7894 TVTs).

At No.7 is Colors' 'Sasural Simar Ka' with 7513 TVTs in week 13. Next is Sab TV's 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma' that clocked 6289 TVTs.

The ninth and tenth spot are occupied by Zee TV's 'Jamai Raja' (6229 TVTs) and Star Plus' 'Tu Mera Hero' (6124 TVTs), respectively.
