After successfully honouring the best in radio advertising for 11 years through its Mirchi Kaan Awards, this year, Radio Mirchi has partnered with Goafest to present the Radio Abbys. The partnership will continue for three years.
For this event, Radio Mirchi along with McCann conceptualised a campaign titled #MirchiRadioKing on social media.
As a prelude to the announcement, engaging videos on Radio Mirchi's YouTube page were rolled-out urging ad gurus to unleash the 'Radio King' in them, and be prepared to be acknowledged and lauded at Goafest's Radio Abby.
Further, for the first two days of the festival, Radio Mirchi will request ad gurus to wear the King's crown, take a selfie and upload it on social media with the hash tag #MirchiRadioKing. The best selfie will be awarded with an all-expenses-paid, one-day extended stay in Goa.
The awards are spread across 19 categories. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be presented across various categories encompassing a range of financial services, retail, F&B and healthcare advertising, amongst others.
Apart from these, Radio Craft awards will also be presented for Original Music Score, Voice Performance and Writing, Innovation.
