Zee TV has introduced Facebook voting for the viewers of dance reality show 'DID Super Moms'.
Voting for a contestant through SMS has always been a trend. However, it may be recalled that, in the past, Zee encouraged voting through a missed call, allowing viewers to vote for free. The channel went one step further in 2013 and gratified viewers for voting through Freecharge for every vote.
Sorbojeet Chatterjee, marketing head, Zee TV, says, "The beauty of this initiative lies in its simplicity. We've taken the biggest social media platform - Facebook, that helps us make our voting mechanism easily accessible to viewers across various demographics, age groups, geographies and across multiple devices."
