Nikhil Shahane has been appointed as vice president, mobile and international business, while Mahesh Patil as chief technology officer.
Indigo Consulting, Leo Burnett India's digital agency, has announced the appointment of Nikhil Shahane as vice president, mobile and international business, and Mahesh Patil as chief technology officer. Both come on board with extensive industry experience.
Commenting on his appointment, Shahane says, "In this connected age, I was looking for an opportunity to push the boundaries of technology through mobility and the mesh of ever increasing connected devices. Indigo is blessed with great clients and a leadership team that is focussed on the common goal of offering clients effective digital solutions and to be a leader in the space, by keeping pace with the constantly evolving digital landscape. Best brands are those that tell the most engaging stories, especially those stories that entice consumers into taking an action. The goal at Indigo is to tell these stories, where the 'always on', 'always at hand' and 'always on the go' nature of mobility merges seamlessly with the consumer's life. My other focus will be to shift the needle from just mobile to capitalising on the freedom that mobile has to offer."
Shahane joins from Grey Digital where he worked in the capacity of branch head, Mumbai. There he worked on brands such as Volkswagen, Cadbury, Aditya Birla Financial Services, P&G and Quikr, among others. His work has won him awards at Abbys, IAMAI and DMAI.
Patil has more than 14 years of experience on the internet of things, across digital, e-commerce, media, entertainment, telecommunication, mobile, VAS, travel and education domains.
About joining Indigo Consulting, Patil says, "I am fascinated by the way digital has been shaping people's lives. At Indigo, I look forward to sharpening the technology edge by building a gold standard technology practice, bringing innovation and being part of the process that influences digital lifestyle of millions of people."
