Nestle India, currently in the process of withdrawing Maggi noodles countrywide, is now giving consumers an option to return unopened packs of the product. In a print ad that appeared in the Delhi edition of The Times of India, dated June 18, the company thanks them for their "continuing trust in Maggi," while assuring that consumer trust is its topmost priority.
Following health concerns that came to light because the popular noodle brand was charged with having lead and monosodium glutamate (MSG) in excess of permissible limits, Nestle India decided to pull Maggi packs off the shelves on June 5.
