TAM, the television audience measurement agency, has shared the viewership numbers in Individual GRPs & GVTs for general entertainment channels in week 25, 2015.
According to the data, Star Plus continued to rule the roost with 252 GRPs in week 25, as compared to 241 GRPs in the previous week. Colors stayed put in the second spot with 213 GRPs, as against 210 GRPs in the previous week. Zee TV came in third, having lost some viewership and recorded 154 GRPs as compared to 167 GRPs in the previous week.
Sony Entertainment garnered 117 GRPs in week 25, as compared to 119 GRPs in the previous week. &TV saw no change in viewership with 68 GRPs, while Zee Anmol with 29 GRPs, saw a slight gain. Star Utsav followed with 24 GRPs (as compared to 22 GRPs in week 24).
The others in the list include - Rishtey with 19 GRPs (no change from week 24), DD National with 18 GRPs (last week 10 GRPs), Sony Pal with 18 GRPs (last week 21 GRPs), BIG Magic with 17 GRPs (no change from week 24), Bindass with 16 GRPs (last week 15 GRPs), V with 12 GRPs (no change from week 24), Epic with 6 GRPs (last week 5 GRPs), Zindagi with 4 GRPs (last week 6 GRPs), Sahara One 3 GRPs (no change from week 24) and Zee Smile with 3 GRPs (last week 2 GRPs).
A look at the shows:
The top three shows in the Hindi GEC space was from Star Plus. The channel's 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' clocked 3.82 TVR in week 25, followed by 'Saathiya Saath Nibhana' with 3.81 TVR and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' with 3.72 TVR.
'Kumkum Bhagya' on Zee TV clocked 3.57 TVR in the week under review, along with Star Plus' 'Star Parivaar Awards 2015' (with 3.57 TVR).
SAB TV's 'Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma' clocked 3.43 TVR in week 25. The next four slots in the list feature shows from Colors - 'India's Got Talent - Ab Hunar Dega Jawaab' with 3.20 TVR, followed by 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi' (3.03 TVRs), 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' (2.90 TVRs) and 'Udaan' (2.87 TVRs).
