BookMyShow is hiring in style

The online ticket booking site has launched a creative microsite asking people to apply for jobs.

Online ticketing website BookMyShow's 'we're hiring' announcement is a show-stealer. An unassuming link on the main BookMyShow page merely announces that the site is hiring. Once you click on it, a collage of iconic movie characters greets you. As your cursor hovers over a Rajnikanth silhouette, the message 'We are looking for our Rajni Sir' pops up. Similarly, you come across Queen, Catwoman, Princess Leia, James Bond, Angry Young Man, Batman and Lover Boy.

The site then describes what kind of a person BookMyShow is looking for - one who is passionate, an achiever, loving etc. Then appear the nitty-gritty details of the job such as work hours. From kick-starting the day with a cuppa to the 1 PM music break, the graphics paint a fun picture of the work place. It follows the employees' work routine with bits of interesting anecdotes and pictures.

The site also elucidates the working philosophy of BookMyShow 'Live, Work and Play' and reiterates that every employee gets to do all that he is cut out for, without having to miss out on life. The microsite also mentions the 48 movie screenings one gets to attend, along with 150 movie posters and 30 parties in a year.

BookMyShow seems to believe in walking the talk. It has got the who's who of the company to share their working experiences. The last leg of the site lists all the jobs that are available with the company right now. One can search through the entire list based on one's skills and location.

Whether you need a job or not, this job search microsite is surely entertaining.
