Balaji's last offering on Star Plus, 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' launched in December 2013, is still on air.

The new show is set in the steel city of Jamshedpur and explores the colour and lifestyle of a town, where almost everyone works in the steel industry and lives a simple life. With that as the backdrop, the makers aim to bring in a unique colour to the show, as it explores the story of three families, one Bengali, one Punjabi and one South Indian, all related to each other through their place of work.

'Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan' stars Shritama Mukherjee as the protagonist, essaying the role of Koyal who, according to the makers, 'puts her heart above her mind, treasures friendship and sets love as the prime filter when it comes to choosing her life partner'.

The other actors are Vibhav Roy and Gautam Gupta playing the role of Koyal's best friends, Raj and Madhvan. The show, which goes on air on September 28, will be aired from Monday to Saturday, at 8.30 pm.
