India TV appoints Paritosh Joshi as CEO

Joshi has been strategist for the news channel since 2012.

India TV has announced the appointment of Paritosh Joshi as its Chief Executive Officer. Joshi had been appointed strategist for India TV in 2012, he was responsible for optimising and leading the revenue function of existing businesses. Prior to that, he was CEO, Star CJ Network. Joshi has since been with a number of industry initiatives, including BARC India.

Ritu Dhawan, managing director, India TV, commented, "Joshi has been part of the India TV family for well over three years. It's a pleasure to welcome him home."

On his appointment, Joshi says, "I have been privileged to work alongside the terrific team here for several years and when Ritu asked me to take up this responsibility, it seemed like a natural next step".

Joshi who was with Star CJ since March 2009, is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Media Research Users Council (MRUC), and is chairperson of the IRS technical committee.
