Social Wavelength is now Mirum India

Mirum's parent company, JWT, acquired majority stake in Social Wavelength in March last year.

Mirum, the new global digital agency created by J Walter Thompson Company (JWT) earlier this year, has now extended it footprint into India. Social Wavelength, one of India's largest social media agency now becomes a part of this global digital network and will be known as Mirum India.

J Walter Thompson Company, had in January this year, consolidated 11 independent digital agencies across 17 countries to form a global network across North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, South and Central America, West Asia and Africa, to form Mirum.

Led by Dan Khabie, CEO, Mirum Global and North America, Mirum has a deep understanding of local market needs, coupled with leading-edge technical and creative capabilities.

As an established leader in social media communication and listening services, Social Wavelength has now, as Mirum India, added digital media buying and real-time-market-research using social conversations, to their service offerings.

Mirum India will utilise digital technologies and creativity to offer solutions in business transformation, marketing innovation and commerce. It will bring in Mirum's global expertise in the field of technology development web/app/mobile), as well as content production and marketing.

India is the first new market for Mirum after its initial launch. Bringing Mirum to India is part of the strategic growth plan for JWT's South Asia region.
