Cheil India bags adidas' social media portfolio

This is in addition to the recent win of the company's retail mandate.

Cheil India, an advertising and marketing communications agency, has been adding accounts at a rapid pace over the past few months. Close on the heels of having been awarded the retail mandate for adidas recently, the agency has yet again bagged another mandate for its kitty. The latest win being that of its appointment as the social media agency for the brand for its cricket, football and training verticals. The account was awarded to Cheil after a multi-agency pitch.

Commenting on the win, Shiv Sethuraman, Group president, South-West Asia, Cheil India, says, "We are delighted to deepen our association with adidas, one of the world's most iconic brands. In addition to the retail mandate, Cheil will now also be the social media partner to adidas in the cricket, football and training verticals.
