Vijay Koshy joins ONE Network Entertainment as chief business officer

Koshy will drive the overall business that includes multi-platform distribution, and content syndication.

Vijay Koshy, former vice-president of BIG RTL, has joined the digital content creator and aggregator ONE Network Entertainment Ltd as chief business officer. In his new​ role, Koshy will drive the overall business at ONE, including the multi-platform distribution, content syndication and branded content. He will give clients the opportunity ​to work ​directly with a wide range of creators from the network, with specialist teams comprising account managers, ideators, writers, and directors.

Koshy began his career with Interact Vision in 1991, and has thereafter, worked with some top agencies such as Enterprise Advertising, Trikaya Grey, Lowe Lintas and JWT Fulcrum before moving to the broadcast industry. Beginning with Star TV in 2000, he has worked with broadcasters like ESPN Star Sports and Sony Entertainment and was part of shows like the first reality show on television, Coke [V] Popstars, Close Up Harsha Ki Khoj on ESPN, and Thumbs Up Action Awards on AXN among others before he forayed into the retail space around four years ago.

Koshy was the national sales head with Future Group's media venture before joining BIG RBNL as vice-president for the BIG RTL venture.

An official statement says that ONE has created, aggregated and curated over 10,000+ short form videos across various genres including humour, entertainment, DIY, educational content, as well as content created on current trending topics on 74 channels on YouTube, garnering cumulative views of 120​+ Mn. It adds that its client list includes HP, Nivea, Tata Sky, Parle, Kenstar, Jameson, TOI Spellbee, Den Snapdeal, and Big Bazaar."
