Dentsu rebrands iProspect Communicate 2 as iProspect India

Dentsu Aegis Network acquired the digital advertising agency in 2012.

Dentsu has announced that its digital agency iProspect Communicate 2 has been rebranded as iProspect India making it part of the global team under the Dentsu Aegis Network.

Communicate 2, the end-to-end digital advertising agency founded by Vivek Bhargava (managing director, iProspect Communicate 2) in 1997, was reproduced as iProspect Communicate 2 when it was merged with Dentsu Aegis Network's Global digital performance agency iProspect in 2012. With branch offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Gurgaon iProspect India will now be part of the global team.

"iProspect India has been and continues to be a great asset to Dentsu Aegis Network in India as well as to the iProspect team, globally. Vivek had already gathered an efficient team under him and they serviced an attractive list of clients. While Communicate 2 had already made their mark in the industry, iProspect Global expanded enormously post the addition of Communicate 2 to their network across 50 plus countries. It's a great strength to have this efficient team on board," says Ashish Bhasin, chairman, Dentsu Aegis Network - South Asia.

iProspect India has over 200 employees and its three offices will function under the global policies and will be entitled for the global benefits offered by Dentsu Aegis Network to its employees starting from the highly propitious International training programs - NEXTGEN and Route500.

"Communicate 2 was opulent in terms of its client relationships. Even in our struggling times we never succumbed to the much favourable proposals from traditional media buying agencies to function as their subsidiary. Back in 2004-2005, most companies did not prefer digital marketing over traditional advertising. Surrendering to that would have aided momentary benefits but it would have slowed this time for my team to foster a career on a global platform. The companies across the nation acknowledged us and so did Dentsu Aegis Network," informs Bhargava.

As per a company statement, iProspect Communicate 2 has earned billings worth Rs 300 crore for the financial year 2015-16 so far. The win was achieved on the back of its e-commerce clients namely Shopclues, Pepperfry, Myntra, Policy Bazar and Cleartrip amongst others.

The agency now plans to strengthen its expertise in the e-commerce sector by building specific teams to handle clients and invest in technologies in the field of attribution and analytics.

In India, Dentsu Aegis Network is supported through its seven global network brands namely Carat, iProspect, Isobar, Posterscope, Vizeum, psLIVE, Amnet, Dentsu branded agencies - Dentsu Creative Impact, Dentsu Marcom, Dentsu Communications, Dentsu Media, Taproot Dentsu and Dentsu Webchutney. The Group recently acquired local brands Milestone Brandcom and WATConsult.
