With a career spanning almost two decades, Sikroria has worked across Publicis, Percept, R K Swamy and JWT, where he managed some of India's largest local and global brands like Nestle, HP, Indian Airlines, Hero Honda, Apollo Tyres and Tata Motors.

Says Ajai Jhala, CEO BBDO India, on Sikroria's elevation, "We built BBDO from scratch seven years ago starting with 7 Up. Sikroria, who has often led from the front, has grown from being the first employee to the position of the president of BBDO India. He is one of the industry's best all-rounders, with an ability to move fluidly between business, strategy and creative. Josy Paul, chairman and chief creative officer, BBDO India, and I are delighted to have him as a partner as we continue to create big ideas for big brands on big themes like gender equality, through the lens of social movements."

"Sikroria was with us when we set up BBDO India from the back seat of my car. He knows what it takes to create a culture that nurtures, grows and influences. He is a leader, builder and maker of better work. He is the best of the best," adds Paul.

Commenting on his promotion, Sikroria notes, "The year 2015 has been a phenomenal year for us. We have set the bar really high. Going forward, the challenge is to outdo ourselves. In my new national role, I look forward to work with more brands and scale newer heights with our mantra of creating acts, not ads".

For the record, this is the third high profile promotion that BBDO has made from within the organisation in 2015. Last month, BBDO promoted Hemant Shringy and Sandeep Sawant to ECDs.

BBDO India is part of the BBDO Group Worldwide. BBDO India's philosophy 'Create Acts Not Ads' has forged a whole new approach to brand communication.
