MSM and Red Chillies Entertainments form alliance

Multi Screen Media (MSM) and Red Chillies Entertainment, owned by actor Shahrukh Khan, have announced a strategic alliance under which they will explore opportunities to co-produce television, digital and film content.

It has been announced that MSM has acquired the television rights of Dilwale, a film directed by Rohit Shetty, starring the popular pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

"As a network, our focus is to become the first choice in television and digital entertainment. The alliance of MSM and Red Chillies is expansive and pans a spectrum of co-produced content not only across television and digital, but also films. Moreover, this partnership adds to MSM's already extensive library of blockbuster films," says N P Singh, CEO, Multi Screen Media.

Venky Mysore, CEO, Red Chillies Entertainment, says, "Red Chillies has consistently pushed the boundaries across the spectrum, creating and producing entertaining content and engaging audiences worldwide on all the different platforms. This is the first time we are entering into a partnership with MSM and we will explore content production across the different platforms of TV, digital and films."
